We are delighted to announce that at the Institute of Directors Award ceremony on Thursday 8 September at the Leeds Town Hall, Opera North's Richard Mantle won the award for Yorkshire and Humber Director of the Year.

The awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of business leaders and the contribution they make to the success of the region. Richard's contribution to the cultural soul of the region, the tremendous success of the company regionally, nationally and internationally, including the Eight Little Greats season, and in particular his tireless drive behind the Transformation project impressed the judges ensuring he brought home the award.
