To
the relief of all who visit the Leeds Grand Theatre, improvements
to the facilities are now in hand. Transformation
will address some of the main concerns faced by the public
including cramped seating and poor sightlines in the Stalls,
uncomfortable seats and the heat!
There will be new
seats in the Stalls, which will also be re-raked so everyone
has a good view. The central aisle will be removed in order
to stagger the seating and this will also improve sightlines.
Seating throughout the auditorium will be refurbished. A new air-cooling system will be installed, bringing relief
to those who have suffered in the stifling conditions in the
past.
