If you are a UK income tax payer then your donation is worth more. By completing the Gift Aid section the Development Trust can reclaim an extra 28p from every £1 you donate. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can reclaim the difference between the basic (22 per cent) and higher (40 per cent) rate bands.

So, if you make a single gift of £100, the Transformation Campaign receives £128 and if you are a higher rate taxpayer you can reclaim £23. A gift of £500 would be worth £641 to the Transformation campaign, with the higher rate taxpayer reclaiming £115.
